    Photos Face full of gas

    Any idea what caused this? I got a faceful of hot gas. Factory FGGM in a Steyr SSG69 P1. Third to last shot in a 300 yard prone match. It threw me just out of the score ring to drop 10 points and finish last place. Checked the rifle all seems ok..

    Rifle Scopes New SSG 69 picatinney rail

    Has anyone tried their new rail yet? I'm looking for 30mm SSG rings but this is half the price. Wondering if it mars the finish? Do they raise the scope too high? They originally were going to manufacture alloy ones but the factory acknowledged these are steel. Hopefully someone has tried this...

    I'm wondering what kind of turret is on the standard zeiss conquest? Is it similar to the target turret (finger adjustable) under the covers? Anyone have a pic of one? Thanks

    sorry for the dumb question.. Do the QR mounting screws go on the port side or starboard side? I've been looking on line and see them on both sides..or does it even matter? tks 44

    Short of drilling and tapping is anyone aware of a 20MOA scope base for a SSG69? While on the topic (I just spent an hour on the Leupold discussion) is there a good 1" mildot scope that has enough elevation to satisfy 300-1000 BR? Thanks 44
