    Rifle Scopes Anyone running a 56mm objective on the XLR chassis?

    Anyone use the Larue tactical POD?

    I have the Magpul CTR buttstock on my .308 and want to put an Accushot monopod on it. The Larue Tactical POD bolts through it and gives you a mini rail mount point.     I picked up a Rem 700 in 8mm a few years back for elk but lately have been thinking of dropping it into a AI stock and modding it. However it seems from reading some other threads there is not a lot of target type bullets available for 8mm. Would I be wasting my time?

    Anyone with experience on the Steyr ssg 04 A1?

    I am looking to buy one of these in .308. Is the accuracy as good as Steyr claims? Would I be better off with the 300 mag version? I figure this is the best forum to ask the question.
