    F T/R Competition %%Need help on correct way to use a bipod%%

    I was one of a few shooting off of a harris at the world shoot. Mine has claws on it that i made from thick sheet metal. I load the bipod, tried a sinclair bipod and couldnt get use to it.

    I had opposite results when i got mine. I load the bipod, and with the sinclair i felt like i wasnt in control anymore. I know its probably a shooting form issue, but my groups shrank back down when i went back to the harris and could load up the bipod.

    F T/R Competition Which Trigger?? CG, Jewel, Timney

    Been running the CGs for over three years now, no problems at all. I have seen several jewels take a dump from pressured up rounds. I have lost and blown primers and never had a problem with the CG.

    Gunsmithing Whidden aluminum V-block ???

    Re: Whidden aluminum V-block ??? The v block will work for repeaters, I have the first prototype in my rifle. Use to work for John Whidden part time installing the v-blocks. Give them a call and talk to Burke, also there is a new V-block with bottom metal integrated into it.

    Knife metals?

    Re: Knife metals? 1095 for a field knife, S30v for a working knife has been the right combo for myself. My work knives have held up for mill working, I cut conveyor belts, air hoses, and everything else. If any steel isnt heat treated properly it wont be worth a damn regardless of the steel...
