Round 5 100 yard challenge - suggestions needed.

There are two types of blank targets linked in the 4.5 challenge post for your convenience. Or use your own that clearly shows point of aim even if you obliterate it by shooting it out, like the center of a bulls-eye or square. They are 8.5 x 11 but if you can shoot 8 targets on a single 6x5...

Just to make mine official... I'm going to re-shoot this though. Too much coffee that day.

Round 5 100 yard challenge - suggestions needed.

Round 5 100 yard challenge - suggestions needed. This was a lot of fun to shoot. I'm not quite sure what happened with those two low shots on the bottom two. Somehow the zero on my bolt gun was off today, I'll have to sort that out before I shoot a set on it.

Round 5 100 yard challenge - suggestions needed.

I'll go shot this today using this target: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BxdZBsajKwARdGFxVE03UkwxTkU/edit?usp=docslist_api I highly doubt that I'll be able to punch out the POA but if by some miracle I did, the POA is dead center of the 45deg squares.

That sounds good. 2 round mini-groups and POA to group center POI.

Round 5 100 yard challenge - suggestions needed.

How about the 6x5 and a "bonus stage" of one of the 10 round challenges as described in posts above? Nice tidy two 20 round boxes of ammo.

Starting with a (almost) blank slate

I had to finish tweaking the zero a little today, but first group of the day was .312 MOA off the bipod. I'm not changing anything.

Starting with a (almost) blank slate

Last weekend I confirmed zero at 100 yards then slewed over to the 320 yard steal E-type to be rewarded with a satisfying "ding". Then I engaged an 8" round steal target... Only once. Damn thing fell over. I need a bigger range.

Starting with a (almost) blank slate

Starting with a (almost) blank slate After 40 rounds of break in and roughing in the zero using 168gr American Eagle boat tail I switched to the match grade stuff. Best results were from 168gr Federal Gold Medal Match at just under 1 MOA shooting off the bipod. The rifle is defiantly capable...

Need Suggestions on DBM for Remmy 700 5r Milspec - stock

Need Suggestions on DBM for Remmy 700 5r Milspec - stock If I were not on a bit of a tight timeline, I would have gone with an AICS type DBM. When/if I replace my current stock I'll send it out for inletting to an AICS compatible DBM. But for a drop in replacement, what option is there other...

Need Suggestions on DBM for Remmy 700 5r Milspec - stock

I ordered from Sniper Country PX over the weekend, it shipped on Monday and I received it Wednesday. I have a buddy who sent me one when I couldn't initially find one for sale online. I'm going to send it back to him but I can see if he wants to sell it.

Need Suggestions on DBM for Remmy 700 5r Milspec - stock

I just used the HS Precision DBM on my HS stock. It's pretty much just a drop-in. You may have to clear a little material in one spot but that just takes about 1min with a file. But be warned, additional mags are expensive and sometime harder to find in-stock.
