Movie Theater Just Finished a great Western series

Re: Just Finished a great Western series All 4 of the books have actually been made in TV mini-series movies. Lonesome Dove is far and away the best movie of the 4, but the others are worth watching. None of them are as good as the actual books. Lonesome Dove Series

    Suppressors Technical Drawing Colt 1911

Re: Technical Drawing Colt 1911 Try a kydex belt holster from either Comp-Tac or Blade-Tech for a no-nonsense range rig. The trigger guard snaps into the kydex in such a way that you won't have to worry about it coming out, even rolling around on the ground.

    Suppressors Technical Drawing Colt 1911

Re: Technical Drawing Colt 1911 Precision built $2K+ 1911 by a known builder versus a holster that cost $3 to make in China. Reckon where the problem might be?

Re: Pricing on L Vickers 1911? Any Info? The info I've seen is that he isn't taking any work now. Could be wrong, who knows. He posts occasionally on m4carbine.net if you want to try and get an answer straight from the horse's mouth.

    Another CZ topic

Re: Another CZ topic Mine wears a simple Leupold Vari-X II 3x9x40 in Weaver bases that I JB Welded to the scope mounting grooves (I don't like things to even think about moving). At some point I'll probably send it off for turrets, but it makes a great plinking rifle as is. I had a Nikon...

    Maggie’s Five year olds... HELP!!!

Re: Five year olds... HELP!!! 8 year old daughter, sons 6 & 2 here. Mega's right - work them, play with them, and generally keep them engaged until they drop from exhaustion. It wasn't as bad with 2, but 3 are a real workout. Our 2 year old boy is the worst and a holy terror at times. He...

    Silhoutte shooting

Re: Silhoutte shooting Be prepared to be humbled. Out of a standard 40 shot round, I think I hit 13 the first time I went. The chickens are my worst animal. Despite being the closest, those bastards are little-bitty.

Fieldcraft AAR - Photos/Videos SoCal Emergency BackPack Meet

Re: AAR - Photos/Videos SoCal Emergency BackPack Meet Very informative, thanks for taking the time to post it all. The thing that sticks out to me is the amount of cutlery the experts pack. For example, I count 3 fixed blade knives, 3 folders, a saw, a hatchet, and 2 multitools in sheaths...

If you only had one rifle?

Re: If you only had one rifle? I'm primarily a hunter, not a tactical guy, so my choice will be a lot lighter than most of y'alls. I could get by with my Remington 700 LVSF (Light Varmint Stainless Fluted) .308 and be perfectly happy. Ammo and components everywhere, reasonably light, it...

    Maggie’s Let's see them U.S. Optics girls

Re: Let's see them U.S. Optics girls Somehow I have my doubts that the guys building the scopes and spotters and the photographer putting the calender together are one in the same or slowing each other down. Been wrong before, but I'd be surprised if one's delaying the other.

Lets see some of those McMillan marble colors

Re: Lets see some of those McMillan marble colors They ain't great pictures, but maybe you can tell a little from them. Rem. Classic in 50% Olive, 25% Black, 25% Light Tan. The rifle (LVSF .308) has since been Cerakoted in Graphite Black and the scheme looks really good with the black metal.
