I ended up finding an older 2.5-10x24 with capped turrets and an NPR2 reticle. Going to try it out for a bit and then go from there

The more I read, the more I’m unsure haha. If I can find a 2.5-10x24 soon I will probably pick it up if it’s a reasonable price. If not, a 1-6 or 1-8 will work I think

I am looking for an optic to round out a 13.9” build. I’m going with a variable optic and am stuck. I like the concept of a 2.5-10x24 and will be putting an offset red dot on it so the 2.5x low end shouldn’t be too much of a down side. I had an NX8 and liked everything but the reticle/dot size...

Looking at picking up a brake for my 280ai bergara. Due to the moderate size barrel contour (#5) I don’t want a huge brake but am considering the following: Hawkins tank (new self timed version) 419 hellfire/sidewinder The made/sold by Bergara Thoughts? Any others I should look at?

I haven’t yet. It got pushed to the back burner for the time being unfortunately. I would likely go with the 2.5-20 or the 4-32 though. The 35mm tube is about a deal breaker for me

I just wasn’t sure how well or if cerakote would adhere to the melonite. If no issue there that’s what I will do.
