Call novekse and see if the newer NSR nuts will work. I have used both and i remember them being pretty close dimensionally speaking. i did not mic them up tho, so apply salt liberally.

I tested a case last week. 1 MOA group @100 and easy hits on a 20" gong at 640 yd with a factory fresh RR 700. It chrono'd out of my 22" barrel at 2660fps with an SD of 25 and an ES of 86. Not too bad for cheapish bulk ammo.

yes they can. toward the bottom of the skeletonizing page it is mentioned that if a bolt knob job is to be done, the pocket closest to the knob is omitted to provide strength.

Socal native, long time member, mostly listening and learning. I finally pulled the trigger and started an AICS/700 build in 6.5CM after mulling it over for the last 3 some odd years. guess ill find out if the RR prefix 700s are as bad as the interweb says they are.
