    6.5 Creedmoor 100gr ELD-VT + Varget Load Development

Interesting that the recoil is more than the 6CM. How does the 6CM with 108s have considerably better performance, or does the 100 eldvt hang in there ok? At least at closer distances.

    6x45... whats the deal?

So a bit faster than 223 with 75-80gr bullets. Pretty good performance considering the BC on the 87 vmax isn't terrible (similar to a 73gr ELDM).

I Spy New Baby Theos 2-10x

Here’s a promo video. I wonder why they didn’t put numbers on the main horizontal stadia? That would annoy me. There’s a few other slightly off things about the reticle IMO but it’s far from the worst MPVO reticle out there. I find the whole, 34mm tube, 43mils of elevation thing weird too...

What kind of velocity from a 20" barrel?

    6.5 Creedmoor 100gr ELD-VT + Varget Load Development

Is the recoil notably softer with these over 130-140gr bullets?

    6.5 Creedmoor

Thinking some more about this, it's a shame it's on the -VT that has such a high BC, would make an awesome general purpose hunting bullet. With the speed limitations for comp shooting I wonder if the 107-108gr bullets would be a better option. I found some 108gr Scenars at home, I might try...

I Spy New Baby Theos 2-10x

We need a new rifle scope category, TB-MPVO or Thicc Boi MPVO. This scope ticks a lot of boxes, the reticle should at least be very usable on 2x, but at 29oz you could run a 3-15 instead, especially if you were going to have an RDS anyway.

Which counties outside North America have a strong PRS scene? Rim or centerfire

Are the Pro series matches all part of a larger European based series? Or does each country have there own series and a European finale?

    CZ 457 MTR Scope rings

Optics Warehouse has the Element Titan 5-25 with is probably comparable to the Strike Eagle, and looks like a cheaper option.

    Trg mag in a T3X?

MDT do 6.5PRC magazines that suit the standard short action bottom metals. Limited to 2.955" coal though. Otherwise the AICS 300wm magazines will work. There's supposed to be XM length bottom metal available for Tikka which would be perfect but I can't find and options for it. MDT look to make...

    CZ 457 MTR Scope rings

Can you get a Delta Javelin there? Or Meopta Optika6? Are all US scopes the same crazy prices there or are some of them reasonably priced.

    6.5 Creedmoor

That's an impressive BC for the weight. I can definitely see how that bullet would be good for middle distance shooting.

Do you have many centrefire matches each year? It sounds like NRL hunter is growing in Italy. I spoke to an Italian guy who said you have AR15 semi auto matches over there which was surprising.

    6.5 Addiction (Swedemoor)

My 24" CTR Creed barrel seems to get good speeds, 147s and H4350 doing 2680fps without pushing it.

    6.5 Addiction (Swedemoor)

Old post I know, did you get this working in AW magazines? I tried 284win brass in AW magazines today and the presses rib in the magazine isn't far enough forward. You could fit quite a few cartridges into the magazine but I'm not sure how reliable it would be. 284win and 6.5x55 cases are...

Rifle Scopes Leupold 2026 - Rumors & Speculation

There are a tonne of options that already bridge the gap between the Mark 5hd and a TT/ZCO. Burris XTR Pro, Razor G3, Zeiss S3, and Element Theos, are the obvious choice but there are plenty more options.

Rifle Scopes Leupold 2026 - Rumors & Speculation

I'll eat my hat if they haven't Leupolded these new Gen 2 models. I think they'll go with a 37mm tube, ultra short, high erector ration, ultralight weight, TMR reticle, and keep the $500 upcharge for illumination.

    Trying to pick a bipod

The diminishing returns on Gucci gear is real though. OP has the equivalent of a Vortex Diamond back tactical (the POS with no zerostop) and a double pull Ckyepod is like a Razor Gen3. There's a lot of room between tthe the extremes with some very good options.
