    Celestron Windguide?

Anyone try one of these: Celestron WindGuide Anemometer Wind Gauge 48020, 48021. Celestron Weather Instruments. I am sure that it's no Kestrel but at under $30 I'm interested to see how it stacks up.

    savage model 10 fcp opinions

savage model 10 fcp opinions The 10fcp is a fine rifle. I have owned 2 (first was. 10fp) and they both have shot .25 MOA out of the box with 168gr FGMM. My current 10fcp HS has the flutted and threaded 5r barrel. I will say that the palm swell on the HS stock takes a little getting used to...

Hunting round for deer in 308

I'm a fan of the 165gr Sierra Gameking. I get comparable accuracy to the 168gr FGMM. I have taken deer out to 600+ and dropped them with one shot.

Rifle Scopes Bushnell Elite Tactical 3.5-21x50 HDMR vs Vortex Viper

Thanks for all of the input. You have definitely confirmed my suspicions. I would absolutely love to get a Viper HD but it's hard to justify when I can get the HDMR for the price of a PST. Thanks again!

Rifle Scopes Bushnell Elite Tactical 3.5-21x50 HDMR vs Vortex Viper

Ok, I have a Viper HS LR with the XLR reticle. I have only taken it out a few times and I'm pleased with the features and really like the the reticle. The scope dims a bit near max magnification but in the grand scheme of things it isn't too troublesome. All of that being said I have been...

This will be my first Elk hunt in Colorado since I've been stationed here and I'm looking for some input. From my research it looks like the best OTC hunt areas are going to be near Glenwood/Rifle or in Gunnison. Does anyone have experience with these areas or do you have a better area to...

What stock for the New Savage Model 10p

You're going to have a hard time with the bottom bolt release. I don't think that anyone is making a chassis for that model yet. If I were you I would call before I order.

Most efficient muzzle brake for my 6x47L???

The APA is a very impressive brake! I had the Little Jimmy on my 7WSM and it was amazing. I have a new Savage with a threaded barrel so I decided to get a removable brake like the Badger and have decided to give the Big Chubby a try. I just got it in the mail yesterday; it's crazy big and...

    DIY Loggerhead install complete!

Well, it took some time but I finally finished my Loggerhead install. I was originally going to send my stock out to StockDoc but I'm a hobbyist at heart and enjoy DIY projects. It turned out pretty nice, but in the end I will say that it's well worth the money to pay StockDoc what he charges...
