    Scope slipping

Just wanted everyone to know ZCO reached out and helped trouble shoot. I’m not one to bash a company on a public forum, just wanted to hear some solutions. In true first class products they reached out on what I can do to remedy the problem. I’ll report back on their ideas and everyone else’s...

    Scope slipping

I’m totally not blaming ZCO. This is a 7lb bare 300PRC and 90% of rings would fail holding a heavier scope on a light rifle…. I just want the holy grail haha

    Scope slipping

Yeah I went with the ZCO Brand rings figuring the should work with their scope but now I’m realizing I shoulda went with a company that specializes in rings. I think the light weight of the rifle is making the rings slip under the recoil.

    Scope slipping

I’ve got a 300PRC built on a defiance ruckus hunter and AG composite stock. The scope is a ZCO 4-20 in ZCO rings. The scope keeps slipping even after 25inlbs torque. Should I ditch these rings or try something else? I’d like to keep it light as possible with this setup. It obviously a scope that...

    Dilemma on scope choice

Yes I agree shooting this 300 PRC for long range sessions won't be the most ideal for comfort and precision. I went with Mesa stock because I've got 7 other builds with this stock and I think it's the best off hand to prone stock. I've got a couple manners EH1's (which are great for prone but...

    Dilemma on scope choice

For the guys running the ZCO 420 on hunting rigs which rings are running? His stock isn’t adjustable so want to keep it low as possible. The action is defiance ruckus 20moa rail.

    Dilemma on scope choice

Well he’s young and can hump the weight haha. He actually pulled one of the best elk tags this year (Wyoming super tag) and will be putting this to use very very soon. After this tag he’ll hunt all over the west. I bought him a Barrett fieldcraft 6.5cm with Leupold vx5 3-15 firedot for his high...

    Dilemma on scope choice

No I definitely respect your opinion. I went lightweight on everything i could on the rifle build while not sacrificing accuracy. I have the same build in a VX5 on 6.5 PRC and comes in at 8.5lb all up. Going with a ZCO it should bring it right around 10ish. He wants to shoot long range 1300+...

    Dilemma on scope choice

The nephew is hooked on everything hunting and fishing (me 15years ago) plus he lives in the best state for all things awesome. He trust me to pick the best and there’s no doubt ZCO and TT are all that. His dad told me get him something that’ll last a lifetime. I’m sure either of these will do...

    Dilemma on scope choice

We’ll know I’m leaning on getting the ZCO 420. I was afraid the weight penalty wouldn’t be worth it but from the sounds of it everyone here would pick it. The TT also looks great but is it enough to shoot steel past 1500-1800? for the guys here with the ZCO which reticle would you go with...

    Dilemma on scope choice

I've been tasked to pick a scope for my nephews 300prc build. It's a graduation gift from his Dad. The rifle is built on a defiance ruckus, Mesa precision stock, Bartlein carbon 26in. The use of the rifle will be for elk mule deer and everything in N/A. He goes to school in Bozeman MT and will...

    Seekins HAVAK Precision Rifle

Dune, I have a PH1 in 6cm and I got great results with Berger 105 under 40.6gr H4350 avg 3090 w/ peterson brass. I could have easily pushed it harder but the groups at 500 were under 1/2 moa. I've actually just started running factory 108 eldm because it was so consistent and my time is worth...

    Seekins HAVAK Precision Rifle

I have no idea but I do a quick phone call from them would answer that question. I've called a few times over the last few years and they always answer and take time to discuss the problems or options. They are top notch in the customer service department. I think I'm going to send my 6cm back...

    Seekins HAVAK Precision Rifle

Looking at their Instagram page it looks like the new bolt will 100% cock on open for a smooth operation. The new bolt is all completely tool less as well.... they are swapping bolts free of charge which is unreal. All you have to do is send the entire gun so they can check for 100% reliability...

    Bartlein Carbon Wrapped Barrels

yes they were dipped by Mesa. Quality is the best I've seen for hydro dipped. They put a slight sandpaper grit and it feels perfect.

    **6 Creedmoor**

I ended it up 40.2gr of h4350. This is in a seekins ph1

    **6 Creedmoor**

With Berger Hybrid 105, 20 thou off the lands, 205m, peterson brass, I'm getting 3085fps with H4350 and sub 1/2 groups out to 600. I can push it faster (3150) and still hold accuracy but I throttled back to save some barrel life. Like others have stated I would start at 39gr and work up to 42gr...

Rifle Scopes 20x+ ffp hunting scope?

I forgot about the bushnell LRHS. The reticle is thicker and the" donut of death" would make it easier for quick close shots. I have one on my 6cm that I'll have him try.
