Re: Fitting a used barrel on a different reciever?? +1 on what craig said... that is what was done on my m48 mauser... toook an 30.06 2 groove p14 bbl, cut it back and rechambered to .308...

Re: surplus K98 build +1 again on the boltman, my m48 is wearing some of his work, and i traded an M/N 7.62x54r that i biult into foe-sniper... after enemy at the gates came out my buddy traded me WAY too much to pass on.... but the bolt are great...

Re: Enfield project i did not think the n4's could handle .308 pressures? dont have my stats with but check that first, i know they made a few .308 snipers on n4 platforms, but i think they were re-enginered, like the ishapor #1's....

Re: surplus K98 build i built my m48 8mm mauser (yup thats where the handle comes from) into a great medium range sporter... it will hold .75 moa on a good day, and sub moa most... just a 21" two groove p14 bbl, tapped 4 a scopemount, re-bbl, re blued and alot of stock work... i have a thread...

Re: Ninja Glock Reload i watched the vid, and two others on utube, downloaded a mag and went to work... 10 mins later... with snaps i can load and cycle through five rnd to slide lock back, with live (dummy hollowpnts), i can cycle througfh three rnds... this is on my issued base stock g21...

Re: hungarian pa 63 dissasembly they come apart just like a ppk.. pull the trigger guard down, pull the slide back off the rails and elevate... then the slide moves fwd off the front of the bbl.... i useed to have a link, but there should be one in the surplusrifesfourm under the polich...

Re: 5r im running 42.0 gr varget in fed cases behind 168gr smk, and 168gr amax... my 5r loves them and the smk have cloned the 168 fgmm perefctly out to 600 yrds.. i know i can run them hotter, but my dope is locked in so i have not messed w it...

Re: how do i speed up case prep +100 "RCBS has the Case Prep center, and Hornady is also coming out with one. RCBS makes all these tools to screw into one of the 5 stations for case prep. The RCBS center is great and sits on the bench. I use it for debur/chamfer, primer pocket cleaning...

Re: Yay, my FGMM clone worked! my 168gmm clone load is as follows: 168gr smk fgmm brass f/l sized 42.0 gr varget fed primer shot them side by side with the gmm out to 500 and my zero's were on... i was stoked...

Re: Lee reloading kit - Why so cheap? i run a rcbs rockchucker for rifle, love it and dont feel like changing... just started a lee turret for pistol ammo... big difference in the presses, but i feel they fit their roles well...

Re: Recipe for federal GMM 175gr not sure, but im running 42.0 gr of varget behind a 168smk in gmm brass w fed primers.. perfect clone for the 168gmm and no where near the max loads... somewhere to start at least
