Re: $100 budget I use a Simmons 4x on a 17 hmr. This is very cheap scope, but is pretty reliable and holds its zero. Just don't plan on dropping it.

Re: TRG 42 Well I was at a local gun shop today and decided to go with a pair of leupold mk 4 rings. They seem very solid and so far have worked great.

Does anybody know which screw to take out to attach the swivel stud for the bipod on the TRG? I tried the philips and it was to small. The front screw has a washer on it could this be it, or is it the only hex bolt on the bottom. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Badger action same as AWM??????????? Only 2 screws compared to 4 on the AW I think. Also the Badger action has an additional integral lug.
