    Suppressors Threaded Can coming loose

Could be loose threads , a buddy has a AAC Cyclone that would come loose after 5-6 shots. We rethreaded his gun and the problem went away , the original threads measured .4941" (outside of thread , no wires) if I remember correctly and i cut the new ones at .4970" and haven't had an issue...

    stuck on chest

If you lift a weight and get 10 reps then increase the weight and get 10 reps again you were slacking on your first set. If you are not reaching failure on your final reps then you are short changing yourself on the intensity.. the 5x5 routine is a proven method for gaining power but you need...

Suppressors Do I need an adjustable gas block?

Most common AR's are over gassed WITHOUT a can , kind of a fix for cheap ammo letting the gun run. In my opinion an adjustable gas block should be one of the first mods to an AR.

    Gunsmithing Bandsaw blade question

That material is a bit harder than the saw blade so its gonna be a pain to cut. I'd run the blade speed down to 50-60 feet per min and use decent down force pressure , use a good thick cutting oil and keep the blade wet with it. best bet would be with an abrasive chop saw or cut off wheel on a...

    Help with a diet regiment.

the whole debate on calories in vs calories out is utter horse shit. if your daily calorie needs are 2500 a day and you only eat 2000 a day that is a 500 calorie deficit and over a 7 day period that equals 3500 calories which technically you should be losing a pound a week. no eat that 2000...

    Gunsmithing Seized Surefire Brake

I'm pretty sure that Surefire brakes are made from 17-4 PH steel with is harder than wood pecker lips and is known for galling very very badly. those male threads are way out of spec on the big side just looking at the outside measurement. the best way to measure them would be with a set of...

    Gunsmithing Chambering Without Forced Fluid

Lothar Weather uses a proprietary steel that is very close to 17-4 and the Blackstarr barrels are made by LW from 17-4. Both of these materials are very hard to start with and it work hardens very very easy. Chad hit the nail on the head with dealing with work hardening by using lower RPM and...
