@Denys I will be putting it on my .375/408 Imp. at this stage currently it has a pm 5-25x56 with P4 reticle it’s probably a tad to thick. @Burdy i agree with what your saying Injave the vortex LHT your talking about on my Cz .17 Hornet….haven’t given it a work out really yet but glass looks...
I have this scope coming with the new TR1h retcile as well. I needed a light weight hunting scope for an impending rifle build that can shoot some distance. When the march 15% off sale was announced it worked out cheaper by a couple of $100 to buy this over an NX8 and more $$ over 4-20...
Folks I have one of these coming in .22 WMR and wondered if the cut out in the but stock above where the flush cup insert is is also a spot to loop a sling through ? Im guessing it is, does anyone else use that cut out for this purpose and maybe have a pic of it ? cheers.
Folks would the 6mmbr spacer kit also work for the .458 socom in an Ai mag ? I have a socom bolt action gun and the rounds are swimming in an Ai mag. Stupidly got rid of the one Ai mag that ted well with a rifle I sold....haven't been able to tweak this mag successfully. Thanks in advance.
I'd like to see US optics get back to their original ethos.....custom scopes. I stupidly sold an SN 9 10-42 x 80mm I'd like to see that scope again with a Mil based reticle GAP reticle or MPR. I still have a 3.2-22x44 sn3 with 35mm tube I just love that scope I kind of liked their ergo scopes...
Hi folks I own a bolt gun in .458 socom, built using a stiller and in a manners mini chassis stock. Currently using a 5 shot .308 Ai mag with lips opened slightly, it doesn't feed that great. I'd like to buy a mag that fits in a mini chassis that's made for the .458 socom does anyone know what...
I suppose I was wondering if there was anything I was missing, the alpha mounts are certainly nice but is it $200 better ? Does it look after your scope better due to being ,maybe more concentric etc.
Wanting to get people's take on this, I have a PM 11 on the way and on some of my other higher end scopes I have a mixture of alpha mounts and seekins.....I have grown to like seekins regular rings, but probably prefer the alpha mount money no object. So for this set up I'm considering seekins...
Thanks folks.....I did read last night that some owners are finding their 7-35's have around 120 or 130 minutes. I agree elevation is very important for a long range scope.
Folks for a .375 ct single shot would you pick the 7-35 or the Beast. The beast has more elevation and that appeals to me, but the extra mag could be nice. It will mainly be for ringing gongs etc. its great to have the old snipers hide site back to !!
You can load the 400 gr woodleigh protected point or the Hornady 325 gr FTX gummy tip pill. Big bores are a lot of fun. Like any calibre run your load through exbal or the like and if you have some holds in your scope you will be fine. What you see energy wise on paper does not seem to correlate...
