    For accuracy start with Federal Gold Medal Match. For hunting I've seen impressive reports from the Federal Fusion/Speer Gold Dot line. There are so many options and each rifle will generally have its own preference it's hard/impossible to make a blanket recommendation.

    There are two on gunbroker right now, one of the older style (McMillan stock) and one of the new Patrol models. I've been looking for more info on the Patrol model but haven't found a whole lot since it is pretty new.

    You can get something along the lines of a Vortex Viper 6.5-20x for around $400. It won't have FFP or matched turrets but is a solid scope for the money. If you want FFP and/or mil/mil you will need to raise your budget.

    barrel threading

    Find someone who knows what they are doing and tell them it is for a suppressor. The threads need to be cut properly so you don't get baffle strikes and/or POI shift with you expensive and long awaited suppressor. Do it right and don't just get some random "smith" to "thread for a brake".
