Im looking at the remington 887 nitro mag for a waterfowl gun. I was told that the internal are made of plastic and that they break easier as compared to a benelli nova.. I thought that the 887 was just an 870 in a polymer case. Anybody know for sure?

ok i got a friend who is looking at this mossberg ATR. he wants it in a .243 for coyotes and deer. Problem is he hunts in an area that could offer some long shots on deer 400yds plus. the twist rate on the .243 is a 1 and 10 and it has a 22 in barrel. I think this is an inadequate cartridge...
Re: Wanting a Varmint rifle i had the same dilema when i bought my rifle. I wanted the 22 250 but i got a 243 and couldnt be happier. I got the remington 700 spsv. the 243 is a great all around round and can be used for about anything. It also had very low recoil compared to some others...
i was reading my Army times and they had some new tactical gear reviews in there. Anyways... i read about the new leupold FFP. what is FFP? and what does it mean? it retails for about 1600 and am looking to upgrade my scope this summer.
i bought some varmint grenades for my .243 and they are 62gr. i also purchased some 87 gr bthp hornadys. I p[lan on using varget or 4350 powder. my question is what primer would be the best ive read cci br2's but they are expensive... what is your take???
