    Non-pistol grip semi-auto, which platform

    FNAR or the M1A. The FN is a pretty good shooter out of the box. The M1A can be made into a great shooter. Optics will be easier to add to the FN. The Mini 14 and 30 aren't bad options in 5.56 and 7.62x39.

    Sweet Spot for 22LR Target ammo

    I have settled on Eley Force for PRS style 22 matches. It is cheap for Eley ammo and uses the same lube as Eley CMP so I have even cheaper practice ammo.

    For me a suppressed pistol was like a desert eagle. It was neat for a few rounds. After that, it was just unwieldy. A 9mm carbine on the other hand still causes me to giggle inside after years and thousands of rounds with it.

    It is my belief, and it could be wrong, is to use the heaviest spring you can get away with . I think a heavier spring closes the bolt more consistently. If you are shooting 3 gun with it and need the rifle to be flat while shooting, try the lighter springs.

    Rifle Scopes Using scope turret to level scope fail

    I level using a level on the turret. Then I hang a plumb bob and make sure the reticle itself is plumb. If you can lock the rifle down well enough, you can run the elevation on the plumb bob and make sure the tracking is straight.
