    Re: SS 3-9 or new leupold VX-R 3-9 Sounds like we're talking about the standard VXR. Look at the VXR Patrol. -mil reticle -illuminated -externally adjustable turrets -same price as the SS -swfa stocks it I'm not saying "go that route", but rather compare apples to apples.

    Our weener dog got hit by a car today so my girls wanted to relieve a little aggresion. Had em smokin the steel at 1150. First time any of us have gone past 900. Up until now 900 is the longest we've been able to find. North Florida doesn't have much opportunity for long range shooting.

    Re: Super high Rings and Acis Stock If you go that rout keep one thing in mind. The lower the cheek piece goes it may make butt-to-shoulder feel unacceptable to you. I picked up an adjustable butt plate from surgeon to lower my pad a little. Nice piece.
