Mega 10 Barrels. Review Coming Soon! **Pic Heavy**

I have yet to have someone come back and say they were let down by the performance of a Mega Arms barrel. I've spoken at length with two customers who replaced other more expensive match grade barrels and said they saw significant improvement in groupings.

    FYI: Magpul 10LR/SR - 10-round .308 PMAGs - IN STOCK

? I don't think we ever sent magwell-height .308 PMAGs without trimming the spring. Did you get them from us directly?

    Mega AR15 MKM

I just measured the ID of one in stock and it's approximately 39.3mm. I got an M4-2K to fit in there but there's no way to engage the latch.

No problem. Please keep me in the loop.

    LR-308 issues

Gas block alignment, ID of the block, OD of the seat, gas port size, and gas key are what I'd look at it specifically. On another forum, a poster with a brand new DPMS .308 discovered his gas port was severely undersized. Opened it up to spec and it ran like a champ.

    LR-308 issues

Yeah, factory 20LR PMAGs (can) do that. It's usually within the first inch of the magazine body where the follower can stick at an angle. If you want to send them back, I can put rounds through them with our .308s to see if they're defective or not. But if you're having ejecting problems...

    GAP 10 PMAGs

Unfortunately, we are out of .308 mags to modify. We received a surprise shipment of nearly 1K MAG243s and did one last production run since the SKU was discontinued by Magpul and replaced with MAG291. We won't be cutting down the 291s due to the floorplate design either. Your best bet is to...

    LR-308 issues

If it's failing to eject without a mag in place, I don't think it's a mag-related problem. Can you expand more on what you mean by the mags "sticking"? I happened to come across this post and wanted to help troubleshoot. I've actually never had any reports of feeding issues with the cut-down...

    A lower is a lower

Re: A lower is a lower I think that list is a bit old as I know Seekins provides the Spike's billet lower and I believe Aero does their forged one.

    My Modified/Cut Down .308 Magazine

Re: My Modified/Cut Down .308 Magazine Pins in the right locations hold just fine and by that I mean in excess of 100lbs of vertical force being applied to the baseplate. I've got alot of them in the field and they're tough enough that some SWAT teams, including my local one, use them...

Suppressors Suppressor and Recoil on 10.5" system

Re: Suppressor and Recoil on 10.5" system No, it doesn't. If anything, it helps minimize muzzle flip. Definitely keep that bolt lubed though. I've switched lubes from Slip 2000 to Machine Gunner's Lube by Tactical Springs because Slip is water-based and tends to burn off faster. It also...

    Suppressors AR10 suppressor question

Re: AR10 suppressor question I'm not a fan of the PRI gas buster charging handles as they seem to be more susceptible to breaking at the roll pin. If you want to address blowback, try adding a gas vent. This little part replaces the forward assist assembly and provides a channel for the gas...

    LMT .308 MWS

Re: LMT .308 MWS The comp is a pretty straight forward installation. Be sure to hit the both barrel threads and the FSC with a degreaser prior to installing.

    A lower is a lower

Re: A lower is a lower With lowers, you get what you pay for to a point. From a machining standpoint, you want an in-spec lower. I've seen some small name lowers have critical parts out of spec such as the holes for the takedown and pivot pins, the pistol grip screw hole, the magazine catch...

    AAC flash supressor question

Re: AAC flash supressor question Just be aware that the Brakeout does not have the same flash hiding capabilities as the Blackout and is much more of a brake/compensator than a flash hider.

    AAC flash supressor question

Re: AAC flash supressor question In my opinion, yes, the Blackout flash hider is a better muzzle device for flash suppression. It can be used to mount an AAC suppressor but they also sell a non suppressor mount version.

    LMT MWS... wow

Re: LMT MWS... wow It'll be tough to weigh in at 11 pounds loaded. You can shave about a quarter pound switching from the SOPMOD to an ACS or a half pound if you go to a MOE/CTR but in my opinion, the latter throws the balance off. There's alot of weight in the barrel extension as well as...
