    This is the 2nd Defiance I've had that mis-fires. 1st Defiance we changed the firing spring to a Wolf 32lb spring and that seemed to cure the problem, only 1 mis-fire in last 40 shots.     Re: Pelican All my rifles have 22" or less barrels so I dumped the 1750 and got the 1720. I really like the Pelican quality. This case has been tossed around by Delta flying to S. Africa and many other states in the last 4 yrs.
