Anyone have a Glock G20 with a Leupold Deltapoint Micro on it? Looking at this for a hunting setup. No Bears to worry about. Just Whitetails in wooded western NC hills out to 50 yards.
I have the Ares with the angled body 15-45 eyepiece. Can’t say + or - about the Vortex. I also picked up the 22X Mil Eyepiece. For game spotting the 15-45 is great. On the range, the 22X is great for picking up trace and calling correction. I like it’s weight and length for my purposes but I’d...
This tragedy occurred in Boone, NC. Boone is also IHQ for Samaritan’s Purse, sister Ministry to the BGEA which is <2 hr drive from Boone. Along with the Clergy of Watauga County the BGEA Chaplins were in great need by the Community. Chris was a good friend and worked many shifts for me when...
Fits like it was made for it. (To my understanding...)The 43x & 48 MOS do not use adapter plates. The Romeo 0 and a couple other of the small(er) Red Dots all share the same foot print.
Form 4 mailed out Sept 10, 2020. Credit Card tagged Sept 18. Form approved Dec 31. Received stamp at Dealer 1-11-2021. Hopefully, 1st shot down range 1-12-2021.
Much better than my S&W Shield. I'm retired now and my duty daily gun was a G19. A Shield Arms mag in it and a 10 rounder backup is 5 rds down from the G19 but still not bad.
Picked up the G43X MOS and a Romeo Zero back the first of December. I just found a note I’d made then. Yes the M4 screws that come with the R-Zero are too long. As they are, the right screw impinges on the Extractor Rod. I cut the screws to an oal of .375” and problem solved.
Great video report. I also watched the next YouTube that was on Tony Stein and his exploits with a Stinger. In the mid-80’s, a shooting buddy of mine, Phil Tillotson, was a Class III dealer. On one of our range trips he brought along a BAR that he was handling the transfer of between seller and...
I don't mind Ear Muffs when handgun training. Have a good pair of Howard Leight's and a set of Walkers. The Ear Buds will be with the rifle either shooting LR or Hunting. This morning I received an email ad from the Axil Hearing Pro people. They have a BT Ear Bud called GS Extreme. Anyone...
My LG Bluetooth Ear Buds died. I'm looking for a replacement to listen to my tunes (sound quality), make and take phone calls (Bluetooth) and now, enhanced hearing with sound suppression for shooting. I see the Walker brand has hearing protection earbuds and some models that have Bluetooth...
I've got the ARES w/Angled Eyepiece and really like it. Of course, my side-by-side comparison has been an old Bushnell 25X spotting scope that I've had for 30+ years. I'll be at my my favorite LR Range this weekend and in the presence of other top name optics to make a good comparison. I have...
What I'm seeing is the discoloration from powder gasses that escapes back over the front part of the case in the micro-second between bullet exiting the case mouth and before the case expands to seal the chamber. Not sure why the last case is cleaner. As for the ejection, the #1 through next to...
I had a subscription to Precision Shooting and Tactical Shooter (before they folded) and have a bunch of back issues. Went to the archive stack and pulled a Jan 2000 issue. Page 55 is a write up of TMM '99 held at a range in Gillette, Wyoming. Excerpts from the story, "Remington 700-based bolt...
