Just bought one from Europtic. Looks like there is a small black blemish on the upper top left of the lens between 10-11 o'clock. Can't see it from the outside, but when looking through the scope. Cleaned the lens - no change. Looks like there are two small words in the bottom of the lens...

Personally, for a hunting scope, I would go Swaro or Zeiss.

Guys, I've got a model 70 in .243 that I want to convert to .260. Love the action but know that most of the precision guys are working on 700's. Wondering if there is anyone out there known to be great at building accurate long range model 70 rifles? Thanks for the help. 10gen
