    Peterson Brass - good/bad?

I had some very promising results in testing their .300 Norma brass. That said I'm betting Lapua beats them to the market.

Lapua .338 LM vs. Peterson .338 LM

Did an evaluation for Peterson on their .300 Norma brass. I came out superior to the Norma brass in every way. Unfortunately it still hasn't made it to the market.

Rifle Scopes AADMOUNT Flip Up Scope Caps

Excellent caps, can't even recall how many sets I have anymore. Never a failure or an issue. That backordered indication doesn't bother me in the least. Never had a set take more than the two week estimate.

New Garmin Foretrex 701 with Applied Ballistics!

I'm running three different profiles at the moment for different rifles. I rename them to the caliber and for some reason the new names don't take. I've renamed them a few times now but when I go to switch profiles the caliber is gone and it's back to NEW1. Perhaps I'm missing a step ? Anyone...

    300 Norma newb advice

I don't run the Berger 230's not enough gain for me over the 215 hybrid. It's my go to bullet but I have been experimenting with the 225 ELD-M's with good results. Been using Retumbo for powder, mines a 29". Have not pointed the 215's yet due to the experimenting with the 225's. I only point my...

Thanks for the link. I'll try and contact them to see if I can make arrangements since its a club. I have some free time in September and have a flexible schedule. Also thanks for the above tip on Thunder Valley lodging. Still have not received a reply from them so it may be a moot point.

Help a midwest guy find a long range playground .

Hi, I'm a northern Illinois resident looking to try some long range shooting. My regular rifle range maxes out at 600 yards and I'd like to attempt something farther, perhaps up to 1 mile. I don't mind a bit of a drive as I wouldn't mind staying a couple days or even attending a class. I'm...

    300 WM load advice

I have a similar rifle that was probably cut with the same reamer. Been shooting the Berger 230gr OTM with great results. I'm using H1000 and Remington primers. I did a little impromptu primer testing after getting large ES with CCI primers. I'm sure you will be happy with Chad's work !

AICS with stiller tac300 and jewel

Will drop right in as long as it's a long action AICS. As said you may have to relieve the trigger area or even the recoil lug area if you have an extra thick lug.
