    Freind of mine is putting in a 1000 yard range. I am going to buy a gun to shoot that distance. My problem is I am not sure what to buy. I want to keep scope and rifle around 2k. I do reload and recoil is not an issue. What do you guys recommend?

    I have a model seven remington in 7mm08 I would like it to be a .308. Can I just swap the barrels out and everything will be alright? Do I need to do anything else? Thanks tommy Vaughn
