    This story has a happy ending. Sent my Sordins to SRS Tactical and just got them back today. They work perfectly. The battery box was defective. Anyway, they installed a new box and repaired it for $69.90 (shipping included). A+ to deal with too. I highly recommend SRS Tactical. Thanks Sinister.
