GRS riflestocks here in Norway are releasing a new stock soon. They are kind of stingy on the information but posted a couple of teaser photos on their facebook page. Could be an interesting one this. https://www.facebook.com/grsriflestocks
Thank you for the comments! About the cheek rest, I have been looking around for something a bit less 'tactical', any suggestion appreciated. This was meant to be a dirt cheap project, meaning I used stuff I had laying around, so there's always room for improvement. I bought a Tubb Speed Lock...
This isn't a vintage sniper rifle, but some of you might find it interesting: I had a surplus 1939 Oberndorf Mauser that was just sitting in the safe, never really shot it much, so I decided to scope it and make it a bit more practical for hunting and target shooting without straying too far...
Re: 1939 Mauser 'M67' Thanks! The scope is a Zeiss Victory 2,5-10x50. Had to sand some of the wood off the top to get it on, even with super high rings. ..these rifles weren't meant to be scoped.
Re: 1939 Mauser 'M67' Thanks! It's a great rifle. Chambered in 6,5x55SE and it's on the heavy side. So very little recoil. With the right load it shoots a lot better than I do.
Re: show some pics of your rimfire sticks!! Trying to make a better bolt knob than the original on my Savage MKII BV. The little ball always felt wrong to me, so I set out with the lathe to make a heavy brass knob with o-rings. Used a grinder to take the original down to about 8mm and...

Re: Did I get a version 8.1 Atlas bipod? Pleasant surprise seeing the improved collars when I opened up the envelope from B&T the other day. I have been admiring the workmanship and ingenuity of the V8, but sometimes thought about how it could be easier to adjust when behind the rifle prone...
Re: show some pics of your rimfire sticks!! Great that you found my link helpful! Here's what I ended up with after I got the grub screws in. The sleeves are M4 rivnuts. I just drilled a tight hole for them, put a little expoxy on and pressed them in there with a vise. The set screws are M4...
Re: show some pics of your rimfire sticks!! Hey guys, A few guys have been sending me PMs about the adjustable cheek piece. If I had known you'd be interested I would have made a little DIY with pics and instructions. I did it mostly as practice for my .308 stock, figuring if I messed up...
Re: show some pics of your rimfire sticks!! My Savage MKII BV. Just finished making the adjustable comb on it. The original Monte Carlo stock is so tiny, it feels like a youth stock. With this much lift I can finally get a decent cheek weld. BTW: Does anybody here have a Boyds Tacticool...
Re: Exporting a Viper PST leagal? FWIW: From Leupold's site : "Import/Export Licensing Requirements: Customers located in the following countries may return riflescopes to the product service facility in their country or the Leupold factory WITHOUT import/export licensing requirements...
Re: THATS IT.. I QUIT!!!!!!! Good luck! My brother smoked HARD for 30 years and tried quitting a few times, when he got champix (same thing?) he finally made it. Best decision of his life he says. He also said he had no side effects, except gaining a little weight which he lost again...
