    Re: best nightvison companies for pvs 14 I bought a PVS-14 from Mod Armory. I highly recommend them. Mine ended up developing some flecks that were moving around inside the tube and visible when using the unit. I contacted Mod Armory and they took care of it under warranty. Good people.

    Re: "tactical helmet" No, but it's what my buddy runs and it seems to be a pretty good option. The mount cost a fortune, though. I do have a PVS-14 but if I bought the helmet setup then I would have to buy an PEQ-15 IR laser for 2 grand. It never ends.

    Re: suggestions for a new book to read... I'm a sci-fi guy, so I recommend The Skinner by Neal Asher, and then you would want to read the rest of his stuff. Cowl is particularly good. Snowcrash and The Diamond Age are both great books from Neal Stephenson, as well.

    Re: Laser Range Finders, suggestions? I have the zeiss Victory 8x26 T* PRF. I don't have any experience with other models but the zeiss are very quick to give readings, even beyond 1000 yds. Clear glass, too. I really like them.
