    Tikka T3 CTR?

I'm not sure thats true. Beretta's website states: "semi-heavy barrel contours" (Beretta Australia - Tikka T3 CTR) Which seems to indicate that its somewhere between a Varmint and a Lite. Time will tell.

Aus vs USA build price comparo

Think you're taking a fairly simplistic view on it Snafu. Yes NIOA must make big margins but there is also a few other differences that go beyond those guys. The market in the USA is almost infinitely bigger than the market in Australia. We have more red tape and regulative measures to prevent...

    First attempt at Long Range

Close! That deck looks great. You weren't with a lawyer from Perth by any chance? (possibly a member here). 300WM I shot was built by Redback Precision in Queensland, Maddco 26" #9 profile (fluted), ACIS DBM, McMillan A5 Adj topped with an S&B PMII 5-25x56 Limited Edition. Rifle belongs to a...

    Trackingpoint firearms are pretty dumb!!

I personally think a serious and respectful hunter will learn their trade rather than buying a do-it-all-gizmo. Some of the shooters in that video had atrocious fundamentals, especially their trigger actions. That Zebra had definitely already been shot and the Eland toward the end went down...

Re: Icon warlord I held the Precision Hunter in a local store and was very impressed with it. Well balanced, smooth bolt and a great trigger. Only issue is the price. They retail at $2,500 here in Australia and the Warlord goes for about $5,400. You can definitely build a comparative custom...
