Re: What do you think about McRees Stocks Thanks! I'll look into those. Also have to look into a good bipod and sling for it. My experience is in 3 gun and pistol competitions. I have been learning a lot on here, and am slowly working my way into some precision/ longer distance shooting.- hs101

Re: What do you think about McRees Stocks I ordered the Fixed Rifle Stock G5 TMAG in OD. I have a Savage 10FCP with the 4.4" spacing. I also ordered a few mags.... My only regret is I wish I had picked up a stock pack at the same time...- hs101

Re: What do you think about McRees Stocks I ordered mine on Tuesday, and it was at my front door on Friday. How can you beat that? And it was on sale! It took all of 5 minutes to swap from my original stock over to the new one. I can't wait to get out and shoot it!- hs101

Re: Vibram five finger shoes Go to the vibram website and it describes how to measure your foot. I love mine (have KSOs and the KSO treks). You are able to stretch them to accommodate longer toes if the profile does not match your foot. The first pair I bought were 42s, which fit my big toe...- hs101

Re: Magazine orientation? As stated, bullets forward... That being said, .. Practice, Practice, Practice... A quick reload is a learned, perishable skill. There are 2 schools of thought on quick reloads as well - 1) A well practiced, no look reload done while moving between positions...- hs101

Re: VZ grips Exactly! I have a pair of Aliens on my 1911... They are my favorite grips... But, I compete with my Glocks, so I settle for the sandpaper style stick-ons for the guns I use the most. The VZ's are both very functional, and look good too!- hs101

Re: burris tac 30 and others I vote the Tac30. I have one and use it in 3Gun. It is a great scope. Good glass, and the BDC comes in very handy. Just match your load to the BDC and you are good to go. I use the PEPR mount, just be aware that I would not count on it holding a zero if you take...- hs101
