Re: Elite 10x or SS 10x Ilya, that is the one I had in mind. I will get some Seekins rings, and hand down the Nightforce rings to him. A buddy just bought some Seekins, and now I have to keep up with the Jones. Plus they are some really nice rings well worth the money for them.

My oldest boy wants to get a fixed power scope for his .243, and start shooting longer distances with me. I have looked and shot threw a Elite but not the SWFA SS. Is it worth the extra money( including new rings for the 30mm)or just get him an Elite? I'm thinking he will problably want...

Have the opportunity to buy a sig SP 2022 like new for $450, but I'm thinking that is not a very good deal to jump on. Am I wrong.

Re: High pressures with a .40 handgun The only problem i know of is hand loads in a Glock, because of unsupported chambers and hot loads. Have picked up quite a few of bulged cases on the range. I have personaly put over 4000 rounds threw my XD in many comps, and have had only a few FTE, FTF.
