    .308 155gr options

    Gee guys, I'm astonished that no one uses 155 Hornady Amax. I shoot these at 1200 and am very satisfied with accuracy. 11.25 twist 40x. 27" barrel.Maybe 155 Berger moly'd are better, but it's difficult to ascribe any particular parameter credit.And they are readily available.

    My AX338MC won't shoot 100 yards

    Maybe you could check a ballistic program for your load. Look for the entry that is 36moa over a 100 yd. zero. That is your range that you are on at the present setting. I hafta hold a mil low to hit at 650 yds. with 338 LM/250 , scope bottomed out. Don't normally shoot that close though.
