I’m running the Berger 109s in my 6CM Savage Elite and have been very happy with them. My favorite load is 40.6 gr of N555, Lapua brass and CCI 450 primers. Excellent accuracy and velocity about 2980.
The part showed up in todays mail, so I'll take back some of my derogatory comments...except that not being able to communicate with a company is a non-starter for me, and I won't risk my $$ again. George
Just opened a file with Paypal....and the phone number shown for Glades in the transaction details results in a recording saying: the person you called isn't available.....try back later. The email address associated with the Glades Paypal account is [email protected], so sent off a...
I've been OK with past transactions...but now paid for an order Monday, they emailed acknowledging payment and saying it was shipped but didn't provide any tracking information. I can't open up that transaction on the My Account page on their website, they haven't answered emails, there's no...
But reloading is so enjoyable in and of itself, if you have the time it can be very rewarding. I have 200 pcs each of Lapua and Peterson small primer brass for 6.5CM, and wanted to try the Hornady as well. That's the main reason I bought 100 rounds of 140gr ELD-M factory ammo. I'm happy with...
Here's some results from a trip to the range last week.....using my Tikka A1 and Magnetospeed....140 ELD-M Match ammo..... I also shot 2 five shot strings of 140 ELD-M loads of mine: 41.8gr H4350, CCI450 in Lapua brass. I really didn't expect the factory ammo results to be so positive... Two...
Anyone aware of the availability of a single shot loading block for Tikka T3X A1 magazines? I shoot 300 and 600 yard bench, and would like a simple method to avoid using standard magazines.... Thanks, George
I shoot mostly LR benchrest, and normally use a Randolph Machine front rest and Protektor rear bag. For my T3X A1 in 6.5CM I'm using a JP front bag rider, and just added a picatinny riser and rail by McRees Precision.
I've got a Tikka T3X A1 in 6.5CM, and want to use it on the bench with my Randolph front rest and a rear Protektor bag. I believe that a rear bag rider attachment is available for the RPR, but haven't been able to find a solution for my Tikka. As you can see from the photo, it has a short...
Not yet....waiting for an excuse to justify it in my feeble mind....probably won't take much. It feels fine, but looks crappy to me. It'll probably be something from Bravo Company....
I've searched here and elsewhere and find nothing but confusion and/or lack of information. What "aftermarket" 5 or 10 round magazines are interchangeable with those that come with the Tikka T3X A1 rifle? AICS appears to be one possibility but I'm not sure which one. All help appreciated. George
