Caliber embroidering on cover? Or maybe velcro and patch option. Or possibly small clear pocket similar as you see on luggage. I could see a stack of these in my gun room and it might be nice to not have to open up to make you you have the correct one. I might even be more excited for the...
Barnes told me over the phone the 120ttsx seems more appropriate for the 7-08 due to the extra velocity and more reliable expansion. Also these bullets don't have a problem penetrating. I dropped weight in every caliber when switching to barnes. Switched 243 100gr partition to 80gr TTSX...
Working on putting together a load for my weatherby vanguard s2. I loaded 41.5, 42, 42.5, 43gr of h4350. All loads shot a hair under an inch at 100. 41.5 has run .7moa. Has anyone loaded these up in a creed for hunting? With the added length of the copper bullet and running .050 off the lands...
TORQOMETER®, U.S., Basic, 150 in. lb., 3/8" drive These tools are accurate enough to meet bosch standards for building fuel injection pumps. Scopes and gun smithing should be no issue.
QDRIVER4, Screwdriver, Torque, Adjustable, 5 to 40 in. lb. (56-451 N•cm) I used this snap on qdriver. Very accurate. When I go above 40in/lbs I use my 0-150in/lbs snap on dial torque wrench. It is more accurate than the beep and click type wrenches.
I have a weatherby vanguard s2 in 6.5cm. Picked it up at cabelas on sale for $400. Shoots great. Although I use it as a hunting rifle. I use my xlr 6.5 for target shooting.
Criterion 26" 43.0gr h4350 140amax ran 5 loads between 2885 and 2900. Inputed 2875 in Shooter and gets me first round hits at 800. Far as I've taken it out so far. I wish I'd have gone with 22" after seeing that. Rifle is way long suppressed.
I had planned on picking up a charge master since it has the best reviews after many hours of research. During Christmas Sportsmans had the auto charge on sale for $160 so I grabbed one. Very pleased so far. Once I learned how to use it properly it very rarely overthrows. Maybe 3 out of 50 with...
Thanks for the info. I thought the quality of the IOR rings were just fine. I just didn't want to trade off a great set for a mediocre set. Sounds like you can't go wrong wither way. And the scope is not excessively high, I would just like to be as low as possible as the handguard is already...
I think I began my form 3 process in Oct 2012. Form 4 didn't go pending for 3 months after sent. Called again and expected to be complete in middle April 2014.
I was planning on vortex rings for my new rifle I recently put together. Went to my local shop and they were out of high 35mm in Vortex. Only thing available was IOR 35mm high rings, so I picked them up. I was wondering if there was a significant difference in quality between the two. I heard...
