I'm not experienced by any means with LR shooting. 300yrds is the max I have shot and I have only done it twice. The second time being today. An 11" target was rougly 1 mil, which I figured to be 305yrds. I dialed 4.25MOA and shot twice. Both rounds landed within 3" of eachother, but an...

Re: F-Class shoots in Michigan Cool, got the PDF file downloaded, and got an email. I'll be out to a few or more this summer. I'll probably come in last, but I've gotta start somewhere.
Re: Getting rid of a flinch. Yeah, my bad the 7.92x57 or the 8x57. Out of the k98 the felt recoil was far greater than the .308 out of my 700 with optics and accesories.

Re: F-Class shoots in Michigan I just recently got into shooting long range with my budget rig. I'm rather young and inexperienced. Do you guys think I'd be able to take part in any competitions? I feel like I'd be out of place there, but it sounds like a lot of fun.
Re: 30 rds. Now what ??? Clean or not to clean Assuming you clean it before you shot it, I'd wait for a couple, or a few hundred rounds then clean the bore. But between those times, I clean the bolt, chamber, receiver, the outside and oil the bore. Before shooting I run a bore snake...
Re: Steel Target safety rules I can tell you from personal experience that small fast rounds will ricochet back towards the shooter at close ranges. By close I mean, we had ricochets at 50-160yrds with 5.45x39mm. This was not shooting at armored steel however, it was some random steel I...
Re: Customer Service Issues with SWFA and SuperSniper I've been had bad communication with them. First guy stopped responding to my emails, second person seemed to not even be reading my emails, or had no clue about what was going on. I had to repeat myself several times about the issue...
Re: Are Seekins rings twice as good as Burris XTR ring I vote seekins. I figured their base and rings on my budget SPS Tac and SS10x glass was worth the total $220 cost to know: I won't have to lap them. I probably wont have any problems with them. If I do, I will be taken care of. They hold...
Re: Stuff to shoot. I don't know the name of it, but at gander mountain they have these orange targets made of a rubber like material that is supposed to hold up to bullets very well. The idea is that you shoot them and they bounce around and change positions. When I can shoot at a range that...
Re: Scope Opinion Bushnell, SS, Weaver. I haven't read anything bad about any of them. I have the fixed 10x SS and it has be serving me well. Glass is ok, but it is durable and seems to track well. I haven't run any tests on mine yet. They're coming out with new ones that might that suit...
Re: tula 5.56 ammo? I have been buying the 55gr stuff at Wal-mart for $4.97 here are there. I have about 700rds of it now, and have shot maybe 300rds. It's basically the same as any other steel cased ammo from Russia. I had a rim break off in my SLR-106fr which was a surprise, but otherwise...
Re: Getting rid of a flinch. Hey Shay, I wanted to add something. I have read several times about getting "behind" the rifle. As in try get as straight behind the rifle as possible, instead of being off to one side(off to the left if you're right handed). I did this today and it made the...
Re: AAC-SD at 1000 yards? I havent shot to 1k, only 100yrds so far until I find a better place to shoot. With that said, I have read a few threads about this, and from what I have gathered these rifles are capable without a doubt. It comes down to the shooter and the load.
Re: X-Mark Pro Trigger on Remington's 5R I think I got semi-lucky with mine. It breaks well, it's consistent, and the adjustment is positive. I like it. I do not like how the adjustment screw is on the front of the trigger however. It will get replaced eventually, but it works fine for now.
Re: Parallax keeps Changing I am aware, he just said his vision was 20/20 with no astigmatism, same as me(in my right eye), and that his eyepiece was turned all of the way in. My scopes are adjusted near the mid-range of the adjustments, so I assumed his should be around there as well. Him...
