Re: Best value for $ on 1911's Made it by one of our local dealers who is retiring soon. He had no Sigs, no STI's but he did have a nice Colt, a Springfield 1911 A1 and some sexy Kimbers for way too much $ :-)

Re: Food for M-1 Garand Thanks for the advice. I had looked at CMP and they were out of the ammo with clips. The ammogarand site looks to have what I'm hunting for. May have to try out the handloading thing, I just haven't done any of that in probably 20 years.
