Unless specifically told you can't, shouldn't be a problem using whatever you want. You might want to consider the venue of the match though. For example, competitions at K&M don't require you to hump very far from stage to stage while others might. That may change your decison on how you...
Thought I'd pass on my negative experience with AAC's customer service... Have a new 762-SD can mounted on a 51T Brakeout. Like many others, it doesn't stay locked up tight because the ratchet teeth on the can are landing on an "uphill" tooth of the Brakeout mount instead of a "downhill"...
Re: Body Armor I just purchased two ceramic plates for my Shellback Banshee plate carrier. Website and testimonials looked legit but I guess you never know. Hoping to not opcheck 'em.
I don't have my action in hand and I'm looking for someone with this setup to measure the distance from the top of the rail to the top of the barrel so I can compute correct ring height requirement. Thanks!
Re: Sentinel stocks - builds Pictures Just got my Sentinel in from Terry last week! All components are now in hand and it's time to schedule my gunsmith class/build with Robert Gradous. I'll post pictures as the creation unfolds. Terry at KMW was a pleasure to work with. The wait was a...
Anyone have any experience with these? Wondering if they're proprietary to only Leupold scopes or will they work on others, specifically a March 42mm objective.
Re: advice needed on rings for new rifle I just got a Badger 30mm one piece mount for my current build and I'm impressed with the quality for what it's worth. Good luck!
Re: Badger 30mm Unimount Ah, okay Jon, I follow your logic there. Curious if other high end mounting systems use the same methodology, i.e. Seekins, Spuhr, NF, etc.
Re: Badger 30mm Unimount Rob, Think we're talking apples and oranges here. Here are the dimensions I'm talking about, slightly exaggerated to make my point: The outer edges and screw holes line up perfectly but the inner diameters don't. If ya'll are telling me things will "line up"...
Re: Badger 30mm Unimount You mean when the correct torque value is NOT applied right? I'm no mechanical engineer but man it sure seems like a lot of travel those rings will have to undergo under a minimal amount of torque.
Hidesters, Just got said scope mount in the mail from Triad and I've got a question. The top portion of the ring is slightly smaller in diameter than the bottom. In other words, the two halves don't exactly line up. Is this normal??? Would seem to me that both halves should be exactly 30mm...
Re: Getting ready to make my firs big scope puchase Search is your friend backyard. I had the same questions about two months ago but knew better not to post them without spending a lot of time researching here. I started thinking I would go NF, then switched to a Premier, and ultimately...
Re: A big thanks to KMW! Do you have the IMB on your rig? Thoughts? Let us know how she shoots!!! Waiting for my KMW Sentinel stock to come in from McMillan...and it's killing me! Congrats on the weapon!
Re: Review: March-F 3-24 x 42 FFP Fedex guy showed up yesterday with my March 3-24x42! This is my first high end scope so I'm no expert comparing it to anything else but I really like what I see. Compact, solid, and looks unbelievable through the glass at 3x. Still waiting on stock and...
Re: Review: March-F 3-24 x 42 FFP Just ordered one from Ian. He had one illuminated remaining with a 16 week wait until more came in. I jumped on it! Nice to know he'll buy it back from me if I don't care for it.
