I hear you, but it was for an AR build and the SS seemed to be the right fit for an older AR type build. Been spoiled by German glass over the years. I'm lucky with my eyes, that one is near sighted, one far, so I can close one or the other for better "view" Will be pushing 50 soon and happy...

Thanks Dave, turns out it's operator error, I'm the one that is out of spec. I'm used to older Zeiss, Hensoldt S&B's and didn't realize i need to crank the rear objective out so much to get a thicker / clearer reticle. Being used to moving the rear occular maybe half a turn to get a crisp...

To add - if I bring it back to 8.5x - presto - both are clear. Never seen this before. But this is my first Super sniper. Thx

Hi Folks Just picked up a mint second hand 3-9x42 super sniper. Nice scope - a shade heavy, but nice an robust. In setting it up in my AR I noticed that at max magnification - I can't get a clear view and clear reticle - is this normal ? Going to call them today, but thought to ask the hide...

Re: Accuracy International questions the action should get smoother with use, my AW did. the number on the bbl is a serial number, my AE is the same way, the barrels are made for the AW, but when installed on a AE the timing is off 90 degrees or so to display the serial number of the barrel...
