Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
This seems to be the latest craze in the shooting world. Take you rifle and scope and start throwing it on the ground. Who does this??? If you really want to test how tough your scope is, mount it on a 20 foot pound magnum spring air rifle and put 1000 rounds through it. If it doesn't fall...
An easier solution might be, find some rings with inserts like the Burris signature rings so you can basically reverse the amount of decline in that rail. Save you a ton of money searching for the perfect scope that will work.
Not interested in that but I do have a Brigade BM-15 with the brigade 3.5 lb. trigger. This thing shoots as good as the Rock River NM i used to have and it's 2 lbs. lighter. It drops the brass at 4:00 and cycles light hand loads without a hitch. I like this AR better than the Colt and RR i had...
Wow, how times have changed. I'm obviously from a different generation. My first rifle was Winchester 67 single shot for my 10th birthday. Any gun i wanted after that i had to work summers and pay for it myself. Never had a scope until i was in my 20's.
You really need to get to an opthamologist and find out whats going on. A million dollar scope won't help if your eyes are bad or have developed cataracts. Been there, done that!
I have been running one for about 4 years. I like a plain Mildot and dial my shots so no need for Christmas tree style. I'm at a point in my life where i can afford multiples of any scope on the planet without breaking a sweat and the Weaver does everything i need to do without a bobble. The...
Don't worry, I was the same way but the good Opthamologists know what they are doing. If you can opt for the cornea laser cutting proceedure it's worth the extra money. They will blast out any cataract, put in the lenses and you will be good to go after about 2 weeks to 4 weeks healing. They...
May want to see if you are a candidate for Lasik. Getting the eyeballs fixed is the best money spent. I had cataract surgery on both eyes with astigmatism correction and it has made my life wonderful. Only 1.5x reading glasses are required for up close. I ran bifocals from the age of 45 on...
Have very good luck with Weaver Super Slam Tactical, Grand Slams, V series and T series. Not so good luck with Leupold BR series and Vari-x lll series-------- tracking issues, turret backlash. But aside from those issues they were fine. One Vortex I had was a Viper 6-20, sent it back for refund...
