Yeah, saw that. I don't really care as long as everyone has to do it the same though.

Rifle Scopes Vortex 1-6 HD retical question

+1, really nice to look through and very crisp red dot. I just wish it wasn't such a tank. But durability and weight often work against each other. Either way, really nice/versatile mid-range & SPR scope IMO.

Rifle Scopes New Vortex Razor Gen II Rifle Scopes (Images, Spec, Etc)

I was told we (Deliberate Dynamics) would have ours in July by reputable source. As far as what power, I don't think more power is always the best choice. Especially if you are using a ret for holds instead of dialing everything. Mirage can be a pain at 27x depending on where you live and...

Anyone have LMT 13.5" Upper on a Mega Ambi Lower with sig arm brace?

Man this post got sideways, but seriously, I have to call bs on 2700 out of sub 16 as well. that is even too much for a 16, if you are talking gas gun.

Anyone have LMT 13.5" Upper on a Mega Ambi Lower with sig arm brace?

Not true, but I haven't tried the 13.5", that does seem to be getting short. I have a 14.5" Larue PredatOBR and it shoots better than the other 3 16" versions we have. I am getting 2470 with 168gr AMAX with a SD of 7 (off magneto speed, with 10-shots). It still supersonic past a grand and...

2014 SNIPER ADVENTURE CHALLENGE - Announcement

Deliberate Dynamics will be doing a prep course for the 24-hour sniper challenge in August. It will be around 6 Aug in Utah at Sniper Country. The terrain and altitude are similar to where it will be this year and instructors will be guys that have done it the past 2 years in a row. PM me if...

Anyone used this "Dead Eye" for the Go Pro?

Yeah that is why I wasn't sure. I mean if you are teaching courses and doing videos and stuff I think it adds a lot more value, but it needs to be a home run, not a bunt. Maybe they have some industry pricing or something that will allow us to knock that down a bit.

Anyone used this "Dead Eye" for the Go Pro?

I have been looking at getting some new gadgets that will help aid in our training courses out here in Utah. These seem pretty slick, since you can still look down your sights and record it at the same time. Price tag is pretty high though, so I don't want to waste the $ if others guys have...

    Larue PredatOBR 6.5 Creed (Proof)

A few pic's from shooting yesterday. I just got back to the casa, but I will try to do a quick write up this week. I need to do a few more things, for justice, but so far so good. I want to get a few more rounds through it, but was able to lay down a couple groups in sub 1/2 moa and a few...

    Larue PredatOBR 6.5 Creed (Proof)

Haven't thought about it that way. It is clever how they got to that name, but the result is not equal to the sum of it's parts in this case (cool name). Although, I really don't care what it is called as long as it rings steel!

140 Amax at 1k and further, calculator is off

Good call on the magnetospeed, but something else is up I think. If you are on out to 9 and it falls off (I am assuming you are on POA POI, not "somewhere on an echo"), then I would tend to agree with the tracking problem. Have you tried to dial to 900 and then hold out further? Tracking...

Why are Semi's not as forgiving as Bolt's?

Man, this really got off subject and into what is more accurate..... and not potential issues and remedies for gas guns (compared to bolt guns). Thanks to the guys that took a practical approach based on a experience to answer this guy's question instead of digging your heels in to defend your...

    Larue PredatOBR 6.5 Creed (Proof)

I am planning on being out at the range on Saturday. If the wind is good, I will try to put down some groups at distance. We have steel from 100-1800y, but I will get some paper punched as well. Hopefully it will be one nice clean 5-shot hole at 100.... I am pretty sure it will shoot well...

Why are Semi's not as forgiving as Bolt's?

There are a few other things that can make a SA more finicky, but overall there are advantages and disadvantages to both systems. I would say that in my experience, Gas Guns can open up more than a bolt gun when you have inconsistent load on the handgaurd (bi-pod load, sling, etc). A...

Geissele SSAE ... Im not digging it. Recomendations?

Yeah, the SSA-E is the best all around AR trigger IMO. I love a good single stage for speed and run n' gun stuff, but the SSA-E better across a range of engagement types and shooting positions. If I had to guess you are new to 2-stage triggers? Is so, you might just have to give it some time...

Any feedback on Larue Predatobr 7.62

We have a few of them. So far they are the best Larue I have used. I didn't have great luck with the OBR's in the past. Shoot good, don't run great across the board (ammo, dirty, etc). The new ones seem to run like a champ and still shoot very well. Plus the design is very cool and the new...
