    It is a possibility, the speeds were registering at about 1600 fps, which is obviously not right for a 16" 223 he was using. Would muzzle blast cause this ? I was shooting a 20" 308 and the chrono worked perfect for as long as waiting for him to stop shooting.

    I bought the RCBS bullet shaped chrono. I set it up at about 15 feet and all is well but..... When the shooter next to me fires it registers on my chrono. Benches are about 6 feet apart. He was using a Remington 7615 pump. Is the a faulty chrono or have you seen it before Dave
