    Suppressors Form 4 wait time

I was just approved for 4 suppressors in 3.5 months. Efile is the way to go, when it is working. ATF has been having continuous problems with their server and that is causing delays in dealers being able to submit the forms. Regardless, it is still much faster than a paper form 4.

    Rifle Scopes help with optics

I have 2 Vortex PSTs and the Razor 5x20. Vortex makes excellent optics and I have been nothing but pleased with mine. The zero stop on the Viper series is a shim system which I did not like initially but I haven't had any problems with it and it works as advertised. The PST's track well and have...

Hunting & Fishing Hornady A-Max 168gr. for white tail deer?

Re: Hornady A-Max 168gr. for white tail deer? Don't over think it. 168g A-Max will work plenty well on a deer or any thin skin game. Plenty of deer have been killed over the years with a lot less bullet. Hope you get a wall hanger!

    Hunting & Fishing Bow Sights

Re: Bow Sights I have a trophy ridge multi-pin sight that has been on my bow for about 6 years. I will definitely buy another when it comes time to replace it.

What optic do you use and why?

Re: What optic do you use and why? Right now I have a SS 10x42 on my plinker. However once NC Star returns my cheap scope I will put it back on the .22. A good buddy has all Leupolds on his .22s and it is amazing to see the difference in clarity and light gathering, especially right at dusk...

CZ 452V T4 Trainer: Post-Bedding with new results

Re: CZ 452V T4 Trainer: Post-Bedding with new results I'm in the middle of bedding a Rem. 597 right now. Hopefully I can get close to a .3" reduction in group size as well. That CZ looks great!

how often are you guys shooting your 22's?

Re: how often are you guys shooting your 22's? Weekly. Every time I go to the range there is at least 1 .22 in tow. It's nice to get a few hours of trigger time for less than the price of gas to get to the range.

Hunting & Fishing Looking for first Hunting Rifle, need suggestions!

Re: Looking for first Hunting Rifle, need suggestions! Its really hard to find a problem with a good ol' 30/06. Tons of factory loads in any bullet you could want to shoot. The biggest problem I can see with .257 other than it tends to be a barrel burner is you may have a problem finding...

    Suppressors accuracy???

Re: accuracy??? One of the .308s I shoot has a 2.25MOA shift between suppressed and unsupressed. It may sound like a problem but it is absolutely the same every time I take the can off or put it on. I just dial the 2.25 when adding the can and I am back to POI alines with POA. Put a little...

    Suppressors ATF takes forever

Re: ATF takes forever Right now Form 3s are taking us about 30 days to get back. Form 4s are in the 5-6 month range. According to ATF, they are hiring additional help and the wait time will reduced "significantly". I'm not holding my breath.

    Robinson Arms XCR-L

Re: Robinson Arms XCR-L I have a decent amount of trigger time behind one and was overall impressed. Good trigger and accurate. However, the one I shot had a visible gap between the upper and lower. So much so that you could clearly sunlight shinning through the gap. So far Robinson has...

Hunting & Fishing Waterfowlers: duracoat vs duct tape

Re: Waterfowlers: duracoat vs duct tape I grew up shooting an old 870 that was shiny as hell. Keep the gun down until you are ready to shoot it. By the time the ducks see it, it will be too late. If you really want to cover it up, get it dipped in any pattern you want. Or the cheap way is...

Hunting & Fishing 715 Yard Muzzleloader Kill

Re: 715 Yard Muzzleloader Kill Certainly an impressive shot. With setups like that it makes the need for a muzzleloader season obsolete. Most hunters couldn't make a shot like that on paper with a centerfire.

LWRC releases more infor on their Six8(6.8spc)

Re: LWRC releases more infor on their Six8(6.8spc) It's a good looking rifle. Anything to increase the popularity of 6.8 and hopefully bring down the price of ammo is a good thing.
