SA imported Brazilian Imbel FAL uses a 9/16"x24 LH threads for the muzzle SCD. Putting a tuner on that "match grade" barrel still ain't gonna make it a "match" rifle. Spend that money on ammo and just enjoy shooting that sledge hammer, throwing money at it is never going to make it a precision...

I think it is pretty hard to shoot one out, and relatively easy to cause significant damage from overzelious cleaning.

Ah-so We use the 8 steel swinger 2" to 1/4" at 50 yds and a 9 steel swinger 5" to 1" at 100 for KYL...... Very convenient but the swingres are held on 1/4" hangers so just because the 1/4" pin spins it does not mean you didn't hit high.

More importantly, can you use the chair to rest or brace your body on? I found that position building in weird places the most important thing, the targets are not hard to hit, but the positions and gyrations and time constraints are what make it challenging.

With good ammo, a 1.5moa rifle, practice, good enviormental conditions, biped prone, with no time constraints you should be able to hit all 3"-9" at 150 yards. (3"@150yards =2moa) In the wind offhand with the sun in your eyes big box ammo a cheap scope and bad dope you might be hard pressed to...

I think the question should be "how far away do you check your zero at?", not "what datum do you use on your scopes adjustment?" As long as your dope is good it does not matter where zero is. It is more important to check your mechanical zero at a distance that is close enough to not worry...

I meant because the 1/4" target has a 1/4" hanger your elevation zero can be off substantially and it will still spin the target. (Using a steel spinner kyl set, not a paper kyl target)

Unknown. It was available to demo after a NRL22 match. The extractors could not overcome whatever was sticking the round into the chamber, the bolt "seemed"(?) to be camming the bullet into the rifling, but as you had to fire it to unload it the projectiles could not be checked to see if that...

The demo Vudoo .22 I tried was supplied by the manufacture with SK standard yellow box to be used when trying out the rifle. Acceptable accuracy, but the rifle would NOT extract a live round after chambering without firing it. Tight chambers good... but no way to unload rifle without firing it...

More 504 info While my 504/Lilja rifle has never had the extraction problem, using everything from the best match ammo to Fed 525 Jumbo pac, I did break a firing pin. I was able to replace it very easily from a non-Remington parts suppler. I also read about other people having problems...
