    Length to Ogive

This is just something I was thinking about since I want to try some different bullets in my gun. And I would just test it out if it was possible to find a 260 rem modified case. I'm hoping someone has tried it already and can tell me if its a bad idea. The rifleings in barrel are a constant...

    Should I be worried?

I am the proud owner of a Savage LRP in 260. It shoots consistent 3/4 minute and sometimes down to the half minute range. My concern is though is if the barrel is holding me back. My goal was to shoot it out then replace with a higher quality barrel. I am a fan of leaving copper fouling...

    Hunting & Fishing sierra gameking

This is not another what bullet to use thread. I shoot a 30-06 and use the 150 grain sierra gamekings. My father shoots them as well. We live in Montana and hunt a lot of mule deer. This year on both of our bucks the bullet exploded on the shoulderblade and required some tracking and...

    Seating depth

So I have found a powder charge in my 260 that it seems to like. Holding right around half and three quarter minute. This was achieved with the 140 amax just touching the lands. When developing further with seating depth how far are you guys jumping before you consider the load no good and...

    redding dies

I have the Redding 3 die set. It is a series b. The neck die does not use bushings. Will the neck die bump the shoulders correctly or is the die tapered just for clearance in the shoulder area? I can't find info on this die set any were and I got them used with no instructions.

    annealing nosler brass

This was my first attempt at annealing I used the drill and socket method with a propane torch. The brass is nosler 6.5 x 284. I tried to ruin a piece and see how long it took to heat up and could not get it to turn red at all. Even when placed right down in the flame by the tip. I know its...
