I have been looking at some of the 1-?x scopes as well. Look at USO for a couple of nice 1-8x configurations. March has a nice SFP 1-10 and a FFP 1-8. Vortex Razor has a 1-6 Bushnell Elite Tactical 1-6.5x Schmidt and Bender (is this out yet?) 1-8x Many to choose from.
