The lizards were common in the canals and even though they were curious by nature, they generally kept their distance. That was generally the case for everything else too. Once you accepted that they were absolutely going to be there you went about doing your job as if they werent. Except...
Man, honestly the only times I can think ive been in any marginal danger from wildlife was while working in the bayou of South Louisiana. Was in shallow water once working my way from our barge to a valve assembly on a well. Water was only about 8-10' deep but the well had what's call a key...
There I was hanging 150' on the end of an umbilica, cold cutting a 3" gas lift riser in the Gulf of Mexico. The cut was being made in a ditch about 10' below natural bottom and a couple foot above the 90° in the pipeline. During the final moments of the cut lateral tension due to an above riser...
Well hell... sure would have been nice to know there was a carbon fiber option in the same price range as the PIG 0311 I just bought. Hope it's junk! How else am i gonna validate my I'll informed purchase?;) In all seriousness, it looks pretty snazzy. Looking forward to seeing them in the wild
Youre probably right. I was just curious if there was some amount of tolerance stacking between that particular threaded barrel, slide, and guide rod that caused the malfunction you described.
Have you tried the barrel in question on either of the other two 17's? If after doing so, you still experience the same outcome id contact Silencerco. Ive no doubt theyll straighten you out
16" threaded CZ 455, pillar bedded Boyds pro varmint stock, DIP 25 MOA mount, TPS medium steel rings, Athlon Argos BTR. Something like 6.6 MIL at 200 yrds with Agulia Pistol Comp Match
Another LMT owner here. Had the rifle about seven years and it runs like a sewing machine. Shoots exceptionally well with both 16" and 12" barrels. The only negative thing I can say about it is she's a bit of a pig with the monolithic quad rail upper and heavier barrel contour but I don't mind...
Rog that.. nah, I didn't clean the barrel between groups and have noticed that same phenomenon when switching between the FGM Target and CCI SV. Groups were noticeably tighter with the FGM after shooting the CCI's. I've got no plans of buying a case of the wolf but might as well get a brick...
Roger that, I appreciate the advice and will keep it in mind as I try to squeeze all the potential I can out of this thing. Honestly I wouldn't go any farther than having the crown cleaned up before replacing with a new match barrel. Funds are pretty tight right now so im going to try and make...
After taking some advise given from a member on RFC to diagnose a improperly cut crown everything was still pretty inconclusive. If you're interested there's a post there under the same title that you can read for the details. This weekend I took the rifle back out to test with temporary...
As the title suggests I'm interested in members experiences with accuracy improvements, or the lack there of, after having a factory CZ barrel recrowned. Last night i noticed that the crown and muzzle threads for that matter looked like a drunk monkey cut them on my 455s 16" barrel. To be honest...
