    Manners compact Arctic Camo

i Just got this one done in 6.5x47 Lapua. I love the compact stock in arctic Camo. It’s hard to swallow $1000 for a stock sometimes when you can’t even see or feel it. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Just wanted to give a THANK YOU to...

    Kelbly's Black Bear Tactical

My 14yr old boy got it done all by himself this year while I was gone. He went out on his own, gutted, skinned, quarter and deboned by himself. And if you look close, yep that’s a Black Bear Tactical. @tmanners compact stock in Arctic camo, @Ian A. Kelbly Black Bear Tactical action. Kelbly’s...

Gunsmithing bedding front of recoil lug

I will not bed length of barrel for many reasons. One of biggest is that that’s the only barrel that can go on rifle. Even barrel with same contour will not fit and will have stress. If it was that detrimental to bed length of barrel, every benchrest shooter would have their rigs like that...

    Thank you Frank and Mike

Just attended Mile high class 5/10-5/12. Just wanted to say thanks to Frank and Mike for taking time out of their schedule and away from family to spend time with us. If anyone is on the fence about going, it is definitely worth every minute. I’ve shot 600yd F-class comps and 1000 Benchrest...

    McMillian - Manners?

Manners for me, have built and used both. Nothing wrong with McM, I just like the fit and finish and ergonomics of Manners better. Tom is one of the best people I’ve had dealings with hands down.

    How often to clean barrel

Depends on a lot of things, if your shooting a dirty powder or a powder that doesn’t foul much, if your barrel was lapped, if you have a muzzle brake that collects carbon, if you have problems with carbon rings building in neck. Your rifle will tell you, be it good or bad. I usually clean every...

    Data / Log books

Was looking at getting a data book to keep track of things for reference, there seem to be about a dozen different ones on market. Does anyone have input on what brand you have or recommend? I would like a modular one with rings and not a spiral binding. Thanks

PX Bullshit, Everyone is selling for themselves

I get that, but it still doesn’t fix the problem of someone posting 100 products a month abusing the PX. As Frank mentioned earlier, don’t think he wants to charge a fee and have some kind of liability with transactions.

PX Bullshit, Everyone is selling for themselves

Just wack the ones abusing it, if you add fees then assholes abusing system just raise product said fee and make the buyer pay it on his end. Problem still not solved.

Gunsmithing Best end mill for cutting epoxy wood etc

2 flute for doing that, even if you cut into aluminum bed your still fine. Seems like the 3 and 4 flutes start clogging up more, but any would work. I turn shop vac on and it keeps chips cleaned out so you can see what your doing.
