I shot a buddies Delta Elite (10mm frame) chambered in 460 Rowland (the pistol is a one off) a couple of weekends ago. That is a man's pistol. 13 grains of power makes a hell of a bang.
OP, listen to the serious answers. Put simply $2,000.00 scopes are better in every possible way, except budget, but if you don't need that level of performance, you don't need one. The other reason is that $2K scopes are operator as fuck.
I never really cared for em. Felt wrong in my hand, didn't like the sites, didn't like the feel of the trigger. Then I shot a combat focus shooting class with the wife's 19. Trigger work for the application, never used the sights, didn't feel wrong in the hand when drawing from the holster...
Immediately file grievance with union and company and fight any wrongful termination. State your intention to file suit if they persist. They will be forced to go to their counsel who will tell them to back off and make it go away.
Option two with a Bartlein barrel. Shekels are overrated. Or Option #1 with saved Shekels spent on better glass and rings. You can always rebarrel later. Either way, forget about saving money. Getting into precision rifles is like dating a stripper. You know you are going to have fun...
I was breaking in my CLE varmint upper today. I prefer Douglas with the tighter CLE chamber. I have two rifles with the CLE chamber. With 77 smk's they are touching the lands at an OAL of 2.255. I could be wrong, but if you want to shoot 80's or 90's go with the Wylde chamber.
I would simply call them and ask them to amend the letter to correct reflect the dates and times and pay the fine. I would be polite and friendly and not start a pissing match with a faceless government agency with the power to stop you from using air travel. Just saying.
Decent ammo, training and trigger time. Learn to shoot that rifle to the limits of its accuracy and then you will be in a position to know what flaws you are trying to fix.
Simple answer is yes. Simple solution is to always rezero after travel or major change in environmental conditions or to shoot so often that you learn your rifles personality and can compensate for changes.
Compass lake over WOA. They shoot the same, but CLE is faster to get the stuff into your hands. I've ordered one complete rifle and one upper from CLE. The rifle took five or six days and the upper took two weeks. I was quote 12 weeks from WOA.
Great news. It is a shame that they can't take him down to the river bed and talk to him like he needs to be talked to until he gives up the rest of your property.
