Just purchased one from EuroOptic...good luck finding the adapters that actually make it a "CLIP ON" device. EuroOptic only listed one type and out of stock. So far unable to find any in the US, or an international store that will ship to US. Had to search out and find another dealer to get the...
ugh...heard the stories. No issues out of mine, thus far...an Ark30 not needing a mount for the can...already have several. Was wanting an adapter that fit crux mounts utilizing the universal hub. Likely just gonna have to switch mounting systems so I can buy more cans. thanks for reply(s)
Trying to find a Crux compatible mounting option. Is anyone aware of manufacturer of a universal hub (1.375x24) adapter that fits Crux Suppressor mounts? The TBAC flash hider mount looks very similar in thread size/pitch to the Crux, doesn't EnergeticArms have an adapter that is TB compatible...
I've looked at that option and will go that route if I can't find a Crux FH. Not really wanting to convert the other rifles to hellfire at this point tho.
Or....everyone could pull a John Galt by defunding the entire system (refusing to buy in/participate in their scheme and negotiate your own price with the docs and hospitals. Which I’m quite sure most doctors would rather do anyway.
Someone had cut and pasted some loads from another forum...one load under 1100fps...all mention "cycles the action" "Loader: constructor Powder: 11.6gr RE7. Bullet: 130gr Sierra SBT Brass: SSA small primer Primer: n/a Crimp: none. OAL: 2.26". Gun: 16" Model 1 1:10 twist, carbine gas system...
I understand all that, these weren't built for sub-sonic...but I have read of some doing some work on it...there seems to be some disagreement that the winged unicorn exists. Came across this on 68forums of a few loads that actually cycle the action...
The goal is to get some verified range reports from someone running similar equipment so I don't have to build my own, even though I'll probably try at some point. The goal is most quiet while still operational out to 100yd. preferably off the shelf. Using one can. Multi-Cal Crux Ark-30.
Looking for verified safe to shoot off the shelf commercial sub sonic ammo for any of the following: 308 18.5" 1/11 tw Rifle gas (adj) 6.8 11.5" 1/11tw carbine gas .223/5.56 1/9 tw mid gas
43.9? Figures...I thought I was approaching another accuracy node when I stopped ad 43.5 due to flattening primers etc. Just didn't want to take the chance on beating up the gun.
Mostly used Federal in the 178s. I had picked up some Norma brass to try and the RDFs came along about the same time. So I initially used new Norma brass when I stumbled on to this load. But I was happy to see Federal likes it as well. (which is good because I have more of it). The new Norma...
Not sure what you are shooting these from but in my gasser I was using 178AMAX,Hornady178bthp and ELDx. 42.5 Varget. Then I found those RDFs...love em. I load Federal brass primed with Fed 210primers, 43.1g Varget under the Nosler175RDF...2570fps from a 18.5" RCB 5R. (900'msl...
While discussing the finer points of building and shooting gassers, I met a shooter on the Hide. Turns out he's from AZ. Got to meet him the other day while passing thru, and if he's representative of the locals you'll bump into out there, I'd say you're gonna be in good company.
Armalite receivers, bcg, rifle buffer/srping. Always wondered what a tubbs spring or maybe a Jp silent captured spring would do. Might try that someday but if it aint broke... 20/20 I probably would have asked for the standard armalite rifle port at .099, but had the barrel built before all...
I have a 18.5"(rifle length gas system) Rock 5R. My gas port is .094 and worked very well without an adjustable.(Larue Lo pro gas block) I am now running the older model SLR (DA8) and had to open it up about 11 clicks (15 clicks from full closed to full open) to get proper function with...
