Thanks for the reply. So if you had a 7-35 dialed to 25 power, would you have the same field of view as if you had the 5-25 dialed to 25? I’m full of stupid questions about this subject.
Besides the obvious reasons of cost and the power difference, what are the reasons shooters would opt for a 5-25 over a 7-35 or vice-versa? If cost was equal for both, would everyone choose 7-35 or are there other reasons people would choose the 5-25 power over the 7-35? For you long range guys...
I have a 30mm level, when was using the Badger .823 rings with a Badger 20MOA base, it wouldn't fit. Once I bought a NF NXS and went to the .883 rings it fit with no problems. I have it mounted forward of my knobs and have no problem seeing it. The only issue I have with it is the bubble...
Have to agree with whiskey 9514. I just don't like them. IMO at low power they are not good for ranging due to the reticle being so small, I think it's a real personal preference either way you go.
The whole thing starts off wrong with the "government" invented word "assault weapon". They name anything they want the way they want and that is the biggest problem!
