    What kind of targets are you talking about and under what conditions are you talking about? The most accurate and reliable would be a vectronix, terrapin or better. You might be able to go cheaper depending in the targets and the expected environmental conditions.

    If your talking about ranging just the steel target itself at 1500 yards then vectronix all the way. Especially if you plan to range in bright mid day sun. The Terrapin is the cheapest thing that will do the above consistently.

    Just a heads up to everyone. I ordered my Surgeon 591/R on monday morning. I had to contact my FFL and have them email the information to Surgeon yesterday. I just got a shipping notice today (thursday) so now is definitely the time to order an action if you need it and don't want to wait.
