    McMillan A5 ARCA rail retrofit

Do you guys think it is worth the trouble to inlet and mount a Henderson RSR M-LOK rail/McMillan Anschutz rail or is direct mounting with t-nuts the better way? It looks like a 12" rail would be the ideal length to go from front action screw all the way to the tip of the forend. I'd like to...

    McMillan A5 ARCA rail retrofit

I have a McMillan molded camo A5 stock that I'd like to add a full length ARCA R-lock rail to. The stock bottom is not flat all the way to bottom metal. Is that going to be a problem with the rail not being fully supported? The stock currently has a small picatinny rail at the end for a bipod...

    Load work up?

Current 175 FGMM does not use a 41.7 grain charge of IMR 4064. I just shot a new case of it three months ago and I was getting about 2600 MV. I was shooting them back to back with my own loads: 175 SMK @ 2.800 COAL 41.7 Grains IMR 4064 FGMM 1xfired shoulder bumped brass Federal 210M Primers...

Go to LRF for 800m and in

What kind of targets are you talking about and under what conditions are you talking about? The most accurate and reliable would be a vectronix, terrapin or better. You might be able to go cheaper depending in the targets and the expected environmental conditions.

    $2000-$2500 Spotting Scope

As others have pointed out you don't need to spend anywhere near as much as you're planning to see impacts at 300 yards. My Mark 4 12-40x60 would be total overkill for that task. It is an awesome piece of gear that is an absolute pleasure to use. If you don't need the FFP reticle I would get...

    Whidden Gunworks Great Service

I got a .308 case stuck in my Whidden full length sizing die. I was using Hornady One Shot lube and I didn't wait long enough and I got the case wedged in the die. I called Whidden and asked for help and they had me ship in the die. They pulled the stuck case and shipped both items back no...

Installing Badger Knob on SPR Bolt - Please Advise

I just removed the Badger knob in my FN SPR. For those of you who had the work done by Tactical Coordination, the knob is screwed on with red loctite. I dipped the knob in boiling water for about 5 minutes, sprayed WD-40 at the thread junction. I stuck the bolt back in the gun for leverage...

Best Range Finder Performer...Leica Geovid HD-B vs Swarovski EL Range vs Zeiss Victory RF

If you want to range IPSC steel consistently at 1k plus in poor conditions (bright sun) get a terrapin and don't look back. I have used a leica geovid and in bright light it could not range my 66% IPSC Target on flat ground past about 750 yards in the mid day sun. If your targets have a...

Installing Badger Knob on SPR Bolt - Please Advise

My FN SPR had the badger bolt knob done by tactical coordination in AZ. The work is excellent. That being said, I would consider using a smaller knob like the mini-badger for more room in the trigger guard area.

    Range Finder Help!

If your talking about ranging just the steel target itself at 1500 yards then vectronix all the way. Especially if you plan to range in bright mid day sun. The Terrapin is the cheapest thing that will do the above consistently.

    Surgeon Is Taking Action Orders

Just a heads up to everyone. I ordered my Surgeon 591/R on monday morning. I had to contact my FFL and have them email the information to Surgeon yesterday. I just got a shipping notice today (thursday) so now is definitely the time to order an action if you need it and don't want to wait.
